Producer Kerry David is an award-winning filmmaker that has been working in the film industry for more than 20 years. When she learned of the destruction inflicted on endangered species by the high demand from Asia, she was moved to take action. Breaking Their Silence: Women on the Front Lines of the Poaching War is the manifestation of a lifelong passion.

Kerry David began her career at Paramount Pictures, followed by three years as Executive Assistant to Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman on their various projects before starting her own production company in 2001.

Kerry’s feature film credits are many and include the Agent Cody Banks franchise (Hilary Duff and Frankie Munoz) for MGM; award-winning, Like Dandelion Dust, based on the New York Times best-selling book starring Mira Sorvino and Barry Pepper, for 20th Century Fox. Kerry’s documentary films have garnered critical acclaim, including the award-winning Deposing the Usual Suspects (Benicio del Toro, Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey), award-winning, My Date with Drew (Drew Barrymore); followed by Making Miles: The Miles Davis Story for Oscar-nominated screenwriter Christopher Wilkinson and Seeking Happily Ever After (Lionsgate Films), one of only 25 films accepted into the Sundance Film Lab.

In addition to her award-winning film work, Kerry is a philanthropist through her non-profit, www.OverAndAboveAfrica.com which is how she first learned of the challenges faced by Africa and Asia's endangered species. 

She has been a guest speaker and moderator at schools such as University of Southern California, University of California at Los Angeles, Pepperdine University, and the New York Film Academy. She is a voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA).

Kerry has just directed her first feature documentary, the award winning Bill Coors: The Will to Live in theaters starting October 5th, 2018.

Keith Watson

Executive Producer

Keith Watson is the founder of Practivist Investors, LLC, a private investment and consulting firm that specializes in connecting passion to accomplishment. Previously he served as vice president for Core R&D at Dow Chemical Company. He oversaw a broad portfolio of corporate research programs and world leading innovation capabilities that enable technology development across multiple key market segments.

Keith was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, and received a BS degree in chemistry from Mount Allison University in 1997. He moved to the US to attend graduate school and received MS and PhD degrees in chemistry from Northwestern University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He received the prestigious CFA charter in 2011.

Growing up in Athlone, a suburb on the Cape Flats, South Africa, Ebrahim started doing graffiti and community upliftment work through art. This lead him to his first documentary “Overspray” an iconic South African graffiti film, which won a gold award for best documentary 2001 at the stone awards, this was part of the encounters film lab.

He has a real street edge to his film style and loves pushing boundaries. There is literally no limits to what he will attempt to get that much needed shot. His passion is cemented in documentaries, feature films and music videos.

Today Ebrahim has filmed for multiple international and local clients, and is a highly sought after cinematographer amongst top production houses.

He is an artist that’s difficult to pigeonhole, and brings a fresh, creative, offbeat approach to his projects.

From MTV's groundbreaking reality television series "Real World" and "Road Rules," to the big multi-cam projects of today, she has traveled the world with her camera, witnessing and capturing the stories of people's lives. In her career she has worked as Director of Photography for the epic international documentary series "Operation Change," the national multi Emmy Award-winning NBC series “Starting Over” the Showtime documentary series “The Real LWord,” the multi award winning “East LA Interchange” and currently, “Breaking Their Silence, Women on the Frontlines of the Poaching war.” Gretchen also has DP’d two award-winning feature films, Sharon Gless’s “Hannah Free” and “Jamie and Jessie are Not Together," as well as the award-winning comedy series "Pretty" and Dave Foley's "Up All Night." She has been a camera operator on “Project Runway,” “The Apprentice” and “America’s Next Top Model,” as well as "Real Husbands of Hollywood," BET’s “The Comedy Get Down,” Comedy Central’s “Another Period,” SeeSo’s “Bajillion Dollar Properties” and TruTV’s “Those Who Can’t.”

Gretchen's work has been seen on major broadcast and cable networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, Showtime, Bravo, A&E, The History Channel, OWN, YouTube RED, MTV, VH-1, Oxygen and Discovery and seen around the world in movie theaters.Editors

Gunnard Doboze

Gunnard writes music for film and television. His work has been heard on HBO, Showtime, A&E, as well as numerous other television networks around the world. His compositions have been featured in several documentaries: the Academy Award winning documentary shorts A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness (2016) and Saving Face (2012); Academy Award nominated HBO documentary The Last Campaign(2010); Sundance Film Festival premiered documentaries Connected: An Autoblogography About Love, Death & Technology (2011) and The September Tapes (2004).

Felipe Vargas

Felipe Vargas is a South Floridian - Colombian filmmaker, now a student at the acclaimed Film Production program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. His perspective on the world has been shaped by his Hispanic heritage of familial values and Catholicism, the unique natural surroundings of the vast oceans and swamps of Florida, by a passion for travelling, a love for the cultures and perspectives of those outside our day-to-day, and by, of course, a massive love for the movies. Felipe has interned at Showtime Networks, Blumhouse Productions, and directed Trojan Marketing Group's video advertisements. Felipe is an editor & director focusing on dreamlike magical realism and socially impactful storytelling.

Eric Pritchard

Eric Pritchard is a film editor who started his career as an Assistant Editor on the 2009 Sundance Grand Jury Prize documentary winner WE LIVE IN PUBLIC by Ondi Timoner. From there Pritchard has worked as an online editor on BEATS, RHYMES & LIFE: THE TRAVELS OF A TRIBE CALLED QUEST by Michael Rapport and directed/edited the subsequent Behind-the-Scenes short documentary produced by Shepard Fairey's company Obey. In addition to editing documentaries Pritchard has also edited TV promos & behind the scenes content for advertising companies.  In 2017, Pritchard edited the Tribeca Film Festival premiere rock documentary on John Lydon/Johnny Rotten, THE PUBLIC IMAGE IS ROTTEN, by director Tabbert Fiiller. He also recently edited the feature documentary LA WOMAN RISING by Nana Ghana, narrated by Rosario Dawson.
